Today, I think it's most appropriate for me to finally get to post our Mother's Day Items..
I'm not going to list them as Monday - Friday because, we worked on them a little along all week and half.
When kiddos come different days and you have five different projects (some 6) It can get quite busy. We do have a handful of kiddos that come all five days!! :)
Footprints were traced on paper, then taped onto card stock, then painted around.. we carefully lifted the prints and peeled the tape. (Some do tear quite easily and sometimes with little eager hands, the paintbrush slips under the paper) Hans were stamped using a large stamp pad. The decorative paper, I try and find on sale or at the Dollar Tree.
We either take a picture of each child with their mommy or have one sent in. So precious!!
Each child is asked secretly, (so they don't repeat answers) the questions about their mommy.
It's not Jared, nor is it Kay Jewelers, or even Pandora.. however, it is our little salt dough charm! This poem is original, but not from this year. I wrote it last year, when we started making the little charms.
We also included this week, a few of our Grandparents. Some of these Grandparents, we see on a daily basis and some a couple days a week every week.
We didn't want to exclude these awesome Grandparents, that we have grown to love too! :)
This is what they received! :) The stem was found on Bing.. and I typed up the rest. The background for the little picture is a tablecloth. I have grown to figure out they really make AWESOME back drops. I get most of mine at the Christmas Tree Shoppe for they are very inexpensive and tend to last a few years!!
Happy Mother's Day to all!!
May God continue to Bless and keep you all in His loving arms!
